Puerto Los Cabos is one of the most unusual golf developments in Mexico — a 27-hole complex where Jack Nicklaus designed one nine and Greg Norman designed the other two, all set around a working fishing marina and estuary environment in San José del Cabo.
The Nicklaus nine hugs the Sea of Cortez coastline with water carries and ocean breezes defining the challenge. The Norman nines wind through desert terrain and alongside the estuary, featuring the region's rich birdlife as a constant companion. The contrast between the two designers' philosophies makes for a fascinating variety of holes across the combined routings.
The development at Puerto Los Cabos has continued to mature since opening, and the conditioning has improved significantly. At the premium end of Los Cabos pricing, it delivers a distinctive experience that differs meaningfully from the more established Corridor courses.
