Palmilla Golf Club is one of the most recognizable courses in Los Cabos. Designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 1992, the 27-hole layout offers three distinct 9-hole combinations — Mountain, Ocean, and Arroyo — each delivering a different experience while maintaining the same breathtaking standard.
The course climbs from desert arroyos through cactus-studded hillsides to vantage points overlooking the deep blue Sea of Cortez. Hole 5 on the Ocean nine is one of the most photographed holes in Mexico, with a green perched above the crashing surf.
Palmilla is a genuinely challenging test. Firm and fast conditions, desert carries, and strategic bunkering demand accuracy from the tee. The clubhouse and practice facilities match the course quality.
